The annoying thing is that appealing the existing ruling isn't going to solve anything.

Just like how Arizona was doomed to never solve anything.

If the courts want to say that immigration law be a federal-only issue, then that's that. Frankly, it makes sense for this to be a federal issue. That's never been the problem. The problem has been that the federal government has been unable (or unwilling) to enforce its own immigration laws and THAT is what needs correcting.

OK...so illegal expulsions are have been up significantly the last two years, company audits are up 25% from 2007 (2,900 companies under Obama) and corporate fines are breaking records from a near zero some years under Bush.

Now $600 million more is put into border security and there's still whining going on?

With the govt actually cracking down at record levels...calls by this threads posters for increases in govt spending easily eclipses all other threads combined. Social conservatives show their true colors again.

BTW, the calls for increases aren't even a FRACTION of the increases you and your allies have asked for over the years... and they are calls for government to enforce its own laws and its own constitutional duties. Your calls tend to be for non-constitutional actions like bailouts and universal health care.

The union representing ICE workers has unanimously cast a vote of no confidence in John Morton, head of ICE and Obama's point man on a lot of immigration commentary, as well as his assistant. That's really incredible that they'd have to cajones to step up and call out their boss!

Kindly point out to me where Obama supports "amnesty". I see it as a popular buzzword in conservative circles, and in this letter, but I'd like proof as to admin supported amnesty plan please.
