I found something a bit interesting. I could be completely wrong here but it appears you can still enter for Frozen Four tickets for 2012. Here is the NCAA link:

Does anyone know of someone who applied for tickets and was not selected? I'm wondering if there is still enough demand that the lottery is even necessary. Of course it's a great racket to continue it even if it isn't necessary, but given the debacle of Detroit and the secondary official sale for St. Paul, I'm wondering.
I got the same response as umassfan49, and I strongly suspect it's a secondary seller. That most definitely does not look like an NCAA link.

Clearly the NCAA website. Go to the bottom left and click on 2012 Frozen Four tickets. It used to be closed after the deadline. It is, once again, activated. My guess is that they still have tickets available.

As a 13 or so, (Boston 98) I'd like to keep the lottery. Now that some interesting palces in the east are coming up i.e. Pitt and Philly, I'd like the comfort of knowing I should get seats even when demand is higher. Selfish but honest.

Is this fallout from holding the FF in St. Louis, at Ford Field and now in Tampa? The continual increase in ticket prices? Both?

Looks like anyone with a previous order can now still order before the general public gets their chance. Does this mean you can still get a priority point or has that passed? Also since The University of Alabama Huntsville is the host school shouldn't fans of that school use that as a bargaining chip to maintain the program? If the administration is so intent on disbanding the program they will come across in a very poor light being hosts. Perhaps they cannot handle it and are using the demise of the program as an excuse.

Also got the e-mail. Thought it might be due to my being on the list, priority about 6? But my wife got it too as the Gopher season tix are in her name.
Just got a new e-mail about tickets for Tampa.
Hopefully that means we will get PRIME seats.
BTW, if you are looking for something to do, I will mention a cruise that a few of us are going on the Sat-Thurs before the FF.

I also got the email. From USA Hockey, as well as from someone at USCHO. I also saw a presale on Facebook. At first I thought I might be done with the lottery, but I see the prices are the same so I'll probably stick with the lottery to hopefully get better seats.
