Don't forget the forgettable Kurt Russell film on the same subject.For those who were not around when Whitman made the headlines and want to listen to something absurdly fantastic-get a copy or YouTube Harry Chapin's version of the song "Sniper". It was too long a cut for most DJ's to play on the air in the old days-but like virtually all of his songs-it really tells a story.
