Edit: Shoot me an email if there are questions that only someone who went to a tech school would appreciate. I am still proud of having figured out the constants in the formula describing rep power back in 2007. rep power = floor(rep/100) + floor(posts/1000) + floor(days member of USCHO/365) + 1

So one's rep power is basically (rep value/100)?

(Because the other numbers; years USCHO member and thousands of posts; are much smaller.)

Exactly. I only get 104 points of repping power from all of my posts.

It wasn't that way at the beginning.

Some jerk just gave me positive rep and completely screwed up the my chances of making -200 million, I'm not back to -122 million.

Maybe I should start a thread that says, "Neg Rep Me Please" and that may draw more people in. I'm really curious to see if there is a limit on the neg rep.

Are you intentionally obtuse or does it just happen naturally? That's already been explained in this thread - in reply to one of your posts - that there is a limit. Add to that, the value should be easily calculable (well, by anyone who isn't so obtuse) using the figures provided by Ralph.
