How much rep do you have?

Re: How much rep do you have?

we'll have to see about that, my schedule has been pretty crazy lately and I don't think its going to be any better around that time.

Just took a look at said schedule and I might be able to go to that.

Speaking of that...Im orginally from the Fort Wayne area and have been to the Memorial Colesium numerous times for hockey. If anyone needs advice/info on places to stay...and more importantly where to eat and where the strip clubs are...let me know.

No worries Laker, there's two whole months before they select who gets to go and who gets to go where. I'm sure a thread or two would pop up with inquiring minds wanting to know more about each location. Especially when its a lot clearer as to which teams are in. ;)

Re: How much rep do you have?

And what is the point range of "be proud?" 268,435,455 points to

Here is the whole list.

0 to 15 - User is an unknown quantity at this point
16 to 127 - User is on a distinguished road
128 to 1,023 - User will become famous soon enough
1,024 to 8,191 - User has a spectacular aura about
8,192 to 65,535 - User is a jewel in the rough
65,536 to 524,287 - User is just really nice
524,288 to 4,194,303 - User is a glorious beacon of light
4,194,304 to 33,554,431 - User is a name known to all
33,554,432 to 268,435,455 - User is a splendid one to behold
268,435,456 to 2,147,483,646 - User has much to be proud of
2,147,483,647 - User has a brilliant future

Ed Trefzger changed the places where the messages change at the suggestion of a Lodge member. By default one gets the last message (there was earlier one additional one) after a couple of thousand points. We wanted a simple way to tell when someone maxed out. We had originally asked him to change the points where each of the 11 "chicklets" appeared, but that would have required a significant code change which wasn't worth the effort. It is pretty dumb that all 11 appear before one gets 2000 points of Rep (1400 IIRC).

Need to add another byte to the rep value. If this many people are at or near maxing out.

Re: How much rep do you have?

Thanks a lot guys....

17 people repped me and 12 were positive. I wasn't trying to get greenies, I actually am trying to set the record. How can we look it up?

I would guess the negative max is the same as the positive max. But neg rep is only worth half value. So it would take twice as long to attain.

I wonder why the 2-power exponents for levels are -∞, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, and 31... why they didn't use other 2-powers, 10-powers, or some random assignment...

BTW, is there a place where I can check this exact number? Do I have to give money to the site in order to find this out? (aka Premium member)
