How College Hockey Inc. sells our game vs Major Junior...

Re: How College Hockey Inc. sells our game vs Major Junior...

why doesn't Jnacc just post on CHL boards and get off NCAA Boards?

what are there like 2 people who give a **** about the CHL?

Who started the thread? I understand you do not know enough (or care to) to participate so why read? Why respond???

I also happen to be a big NCAA fan as well.

Now you're just lying, you never tried.

Dirty, there is no competing with your hand....once you start, you block everything else out.....again sorry.....go get help. :D

puckswami who's knowledge I have infinite respect for.

you, however I just don't agree with on any level nor do I believe you're an ncaa puck fan given 90% or more of your posts conclude with the following, and not well bolstered I may add, conclusion...CHL>NCAA

so why post here?

I'll take a team of NCAA guys like Burish, Heatley, Pavelski, Toews, Oshie, Parise, Elliott et al, over any of your CHL all-star teams

Re: How College Hockey Inc. sells our game vs Major Junior...

Tell me is 50% a full ride? Is 75% a full ride? Nope...only 100% is a full ride and on average there are only about 10 of these on any given team. The other 8 are distributed very carefully. One player may only start with a 33% with the promise of an increase to a 50% the following year if certain conditions are met.

Now if a player is good enough to elicit a 75% scholarship offer from Notre Dame, he will more than likely be good enough to garner an equally acceptable scholarship offer from an OHL club.....the point here is that, despite what Paul Kelly would have you believe, a player is not necessarily throwing away a 35K package because he chooses to play in the CHL.

I don't know how it's done at all schools, but at North Dakota no player is on a "full ride" They distribute it as equitably as they can. I would say most are 90% at the most. North Dakota only had about 3 walk-ons on the roster in 09-10. So this whole argument here is not universal among NCAA hockey with regards to scholarships. Each school can divide scholarships up however they see fit so stop this nonsense thinking you know all because you just don't.

If you reread my posts you will notice that I said that on "average" each NCAA team has about 10 or so players on full rides. Yes many schools do it differently but most schools do give a certain number of players a 100% full ride.

I wonder if a player would diss a scholarship package from NoDak because its not worth as much as one from Notre Dame.....hmmmm wonder what Paul Kelly would say about that?;)

Pity but if you were actually able to read you would see that I have never said any such thing......sorry we cannot go over basic phonics lessons there my poor poor illiterate friend but I'm much too busy trying to help Dirty right now.....later!:D

Re: How College Hockey Inc. sells our game vs Major Junior...

The NCAA should send all its 4th-link walk-ons to the OHL to get their education packages, since the OHL is so interested in stealing NCAA players.

whatever. for years and years on this board up to and including your ill-advised comparison of education packages of CHL adn NCAA, JNACC = CHL>NCAA

I can look up posts and quote them but today won't be that day

Why are you lying again? You've put absolutely no effort into this. I'm starting to think I should look to another person in this thread as you've really haven't fulfilled your duties. It makes me incredibly sad.

.

Are you suggesting they would receive a better education package from the OHL??!?!?! Good lord RWD.....be careful what you type and think or Paul Kelly will have to slap you silly!
