BUnyon is refeering this game tomorrow..How much did Parker pay hockey east to do this. What a joke the commisioner is.

One of my favorite UMaine student chants, when some ref was calling a particularly bad game: "We want Bunyon!" A two-fer.

posting from iphone, hope I got to the right thread...hey BU fans, were we able to break into the UM offices to get the grades and eligibility info we were looking for? Hopefully we find something to break before tomorrow night, we can't always rely on cash payments to the refs. We'll see how that streak of HE semis looks after we put everything into motion.

Remember, keep it quiet and meet in the back of the garden to contribute your $20...you know the drill, exchange it at a bank, wear gloves and no names when handing it in.

My buddies and I were planning on taking advantage of student pricing by buying at the door (fack Ticketmaster's $13 in fees). Is this feasible, or should I expect sellout?

I pulled historical numbers and got
Semis: avg = 14,700 (stdev = 1850)
Finals: avg = 13,600 (stdev = 1700)
Out of 17,500

Looks safe.

Could you call to bypass the fees and pick them up at will call?

If you were at the Alfond on Saturday night, you would have heard this very chant directed at Benedetto and crew.:)

Speaking of chants, an exuberant MC student thought he would run around the concourse at Alfond Arena after MC scored a goal waving MC's colors. Campus police intercepted him and politely put a halt to it. The chant? U-M-P-D, U-M-P-D.

He was also smacking people with his flag. There's no need for that. I'm surprised no one got thrown out for the language. Those Cretans brought their D3 chants with them. It was awful.

I hear someone has found the 20 year old jackie face masks that were used at Alfond back then and will be handing them out free to UM students and supporters at TDB. :D

I remember the JP faces on the tongue suppressor sticks...I have been in Alfond, as the enemy, probably 10 times...I loved that arena. Good energy, great fans.
