Well with the regular season wrapped up it will be very interesting to see the regular season hardware - here are the no brainers:

Player of Year:
Coach of Year:
Rookie of Year:

1st Team:
Goalie: Knight
Forward:
Forward:
Forward:
Defense: Ferrance
Defense:

Should be interesting!

3 guys have a decent edge in PPG and also played right around 20 games. Evans, Boldy and Solow are probably the three forwards with Evans leading the pack for POTY at forward.

Helleson leads in +/- and good offensive numbers. I could see him and Farrance but Harris, Kessel, Jones and Eriksson have better offensive numbers. That one is a tight vote.

ROTY: Nesterenko
COTY: O'Connell
POTY: Evans

I think I go:
ROTY: Commesso* may not have enough games in (2nd Nesterenko)
COTY: O'Connell (2nd Cavanaugh)
POTY: Evans (2nd Solow)

1st Team:
Goalie: Knight
Forward: Evans
Forward: Solow
Forward: Boldy
Defense: Ferrance
Defense: Harris

Ya, 8 games should not get you ROTY

Boldy should also be ahead of Solow in POTY race. Better PPG and shorthanded play. But the first team you mentioned is probably what it will be.

BU is supposed to be good every year, plus they have arguably the best player in the conference. I’d give Carvel serious consideration for Coach of the Year. Was in contention for the number one seed till the last weekend, and a NCAA tournament at large bid at a place that has historically been mediocre at best with 0 Hobey nominees and probably not too many first or second team conference players if any (mainly due to the fact the goalies split time.).

True but these things usually get based on preseason expectations or to the coach whose team runs away with the title.

Actually I think commeso has appeared in 9 games since he came in relief a few games ago. Ferrance and Commesso both with 9 games played so it will be interesting if that’s enough to warrant any I awards...goes for entire BU team as well since they played the fewest games do they get punished stat wise compared to players that had more games? Leaving Ferrance off a 1st all star team is ridiculous. Albie should take home coach of year since they were picked for 6th preseason and ended up 2nd.

That is utterly absurd if true and makes very little sense to issue such an edict now when a season has been played during stretches where the COVID situation was much worse than what it is right now. I honestly have a hard time believing it's true.

Meanwhile, Denver is carrying on after having to leave 8 skaters behind. Yet allegedly one positive test ends a season in MA. Laughable.

It's completely insane that college teams get tons of scrutiny and yet you go into a restaurant to get takeout and see tons of people jammed together not wearing masks.

My guess is the reason teams are forced to shutdown is every other player on the team is considered a 'close contact' and has to quarantine for 10 days or whatever.
