aside from on the PP, maine has generated next to nothing tonight. that and being down a few, gendron went with the dennehy gameplan of floating a forward near center ice when the puck was in maine defensive end.
really this could have been 8 or 9 goals from bc.
not sure what your PP stats were coming into tonight but i thought it was your lone bright spot tonight (well that and hobey hutton of course). a lot of zone time and good at getting pucks through traffic and to the net.
Lomberg needs a haircut and looks ridiculous with that mop hanging out of his bucket.
a little late now, but i used to take the orange line to oak grove every day... not that bad, was never worried.... if you're concerned, drive to wellington, park in the garage, take the tram over to the station and head in....
Overall I thought BC and Maine played a very even first period. The goal that they allowed Maine to score was a joke and Gaudreau regardless of him scoring 5 points needs to be shown the tape of that decision to skate away from a puck he was closest to so Hayes could chase it and look for him on a breakaway. Foolish.
BC went berserk in the 2nd period again like last night. Not much that can be done there when they turn it on like last.
Guys that stood out for Maine... Higgins had a puck put fivehole on Demko in the first that Demko somehow managed to swipe after it got through and trickled wide of the net and had a goal... Cam Brown was fantastic on the forecheck particularly Matheson. Lomberg needs a haircut and looks ridiculous with that mop hanging out of his bucket.
Lomberg looked like a young Ron Jeremy!
I though Maine was worse than their record showed going into this weekend. Predicted one point this weekend (from UML), but I had BC winning 5-2.
Their road record is pathetic.
