Well, I'm convinced. Matt Frattin is the only student at UND who is above reproach, and the Hobey Baker award should be vacated this year.

Have to chuckle at all the UND fans who wouldn't shut up about how "Frattin LED UND to the Frozen Four while the other two didn't". Ya, Frattin really needed to lead when his team is crushing the opponents in Green Bay. He needed to lead last night when his team needed him most. Just shows what a stupid argument it was and is.

For what it's worth, Brad Schlossman (UND hockey beat writer) said via twitter that he's talked with enough Hobey voters to say that he would be shocked if Frattin won.

The final voting was done after regionals.

My comment was based simply on the fact that the Hobey winner is rarely in the NC game. I said a while ago that Miele would win but that was when I thought that NoDak would at least make the final.

Congrats to Miele...he's definitely deserving of the Hobey. Also, congrats to the RedHawks for their 1st Hobey to showcase for their program, recruits, and fans.
