Had he not cross checked and given them a powerplay which they scored on we could have held them off and it might have been a 2-1 win but we would have won. And yes our powerplay sucked big time. That cross check was like a high school prank that gets a kid kicked out of school. It was a game changer. Michigan played a good clean game with sportsmanship. Nevermind what pioblindski said he looked at it was in.

ESPN OTL: Wrestling with the Truth at UNO

This aired yesterday, and I don't know how many of you Mavericks saw it. Thought I would pass it along. Honestly, if Trev was going to *Insert Shaft* to a team that had just won an National Championship, and had been actually making money for the Athletic Department, I wouldn't trust him any further than what I could throw up. Just seems to me like he's Lincoln's lap dog.

Good day for UNO hockey yesterday. We saw three future Mavs get drafted. Josh Archibald who will be playing this year went 174 to the Penguins. Nick Seeler who is coming next year went 131 to the Wild and Alex Broadhurst went 199 to the Blackhawks he will also be coming next year.

Brian Cooper who will be coming over next season is being mentioned as a 2nd/3rd round pick in next years NHL draft. Ian Brady and Troy Stecher should also be drafted next year.

Future is bright for UNO hockey.

Good God almighty.

I have called the ticket office countless times now and asked about when a 2011 schedule is going to be released. I think, as a season ticket holder, they ought to release a schedule BEFORE they ask you to, or, expect you to re-up on your season tickets.

Alas, that isn't the case.

I keep hearing the same thing from them. They are waiting for signatures on some committment for what I assume is a visiting team.

Couldn't they at least release what they have for a schedule? I've had to piecemeal it together from other team sites and what's been cobbled together at Mavpuck.

I think it's pretty ridiculous not to have next year's schedule out by now. We're not much more than 90 days from the Stampede!

Well, what else do you expect from an athletic department that kept two of it's fairly decent programs totally in the dark about the plans to move up to D1 and then to drop the both of them on the night that the wrestling team collected a third straight national championship. :mad: Way to spend about 6 million a year just to get UNO basketball on the ESPN ticker. :mad:
