I think they should just go without a nickname and wear jerseys that simply read THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA - same color scheme.

From my rep, I see that at least one Sioux fan misunderstood my last post. I'm not calling the UND players <female dogs> (since the word is filtered), they're calling everyone else <female dogs>. As in "I'm Rick James, <female dog>!"

University of North Dakota Whitey's Bar & Grill, instead of names on the back they could have "Eat at Whitey's". Comments, questions, concerns?

They are a little sensitive right now and lashing out at anything perceived as a slight. It was pretty obvious what you meant.
