Calvin Riley Sr.'s routine traffic stop becomes a legal nightmare. Video shows TPD Officer Oliver pouring out a sealed bottle of liquor and tossing it in Riley's passenger seat, before arresting him for a DUI.
 
I’m not an expert but I watched that video hours ago and I feel like the pilots had some serious skill to even land how they did

They did find a part of the plane had bullet holes. That seems... suggestive but not dispositive?

More reports it was Russians, who also apparently denied the pilot emergency landing. Pilot made it across the sea after being hit (if reports are to be believed)

That was a big, big earthquake in/near Myanmar. The gov turning off comms is a humanitarian disaster
 
Rough 24 hours on Minnesota roads:

-72 year old woman in white bear lake walking to gym was hit and killed in afternoon by a guy who fled, then turned himself in and blew a .14
-21 year old biker in Anika dead after being hit by a school bus this morning

So my wife is in Thailand (presently in Hua Hin) and is fine. Her parents (Bangkok), sister (outer Bangkok) and brother 2 (Rayong) were all unaffected.

Brother 1 who is a military diplomat stationed in Yangon but was traveling at the time was only impacted by his flight scheduled back to Yangon being cancelled. Luckily all of them are unscathed.

I was so out of the loop (Gophers hockey) I had no idea until my wife later messaged me. :oops:
