HEA ooc 2015-16 (let us not suck like last year - yes that is you umo)

Ah I don't think we should count this. Glorified club team for an opponent.

Actually, we need to revise to 3-0-0 for the weekend, as UML beat ASU twice also, as did UConn thwice earlier in the season. Just because BC did not have the guts to schedule ASU this season does not mean that the Sun Deviks are not an independent Div 1 team. :-)

Dick Umile should schedule them in April so he can get a rare April victory on his resume.

Isn't it 2-1? The BU-NU game is considered OOC right?

It is a non-conference game. It is not an inter-conference game nor an "OOC" out of conference game that the thread title alludes to.

Well that's ridiculous.

Why ridiculous? The point of comparing OOC records is to see how different conferences fare against each other. To that end, it doesn't make any sense to include a game between two teams in the same conference, adding 1 win and 1 loss that cancel each other out.

Is it safe to assume that the Harvard-NU consolation game next Monday will be the last update on this thread prior to Selection Sunday?

I just feel if a game doesn't count in the league standings, it's considered out of conference. To make an additional distinction of non-conference adds just another layer when trying to figure out PWR and all that fun stuff that determines making the tournament.

Right, but in terms of Pairwise the matchups that matter are Out of Conference games, not non-conference games. Adding one win and one loss for in-conference non-conference games doesn't make much sense when we are comparing our performance against other conferences.
