HE Reg Season Finishes by the "Pros"

I must be bored....so I took the top bunch of HE guessers (those with 100 or more points) that have, as of now, made guesses for this coming weekend. Its a small sample (six total of the 12 over 100 points) and projected the finishes of all the teams based on present point standings and their guesses for the last regular season games this weekend. Here are the results:

BC.........36
UNH.......35
ME.........32
UML........27
MC.........27
BU.........26
NU.........26
VT.........26
UMA.......22
PC.........13

Since UML and MC tie at 27 points and BU, NU and VT all tie at 26 points, we go to tiebreakers (head to head). Rearranging the standings based on tiebreakers looks like this:

BC
UNH
ME
UML
MC
VT
NU
BU
UMA
PC

The standings, being as tight as they are, only need an "upset" or two to really scramble things up, but it'll be interesting to see how this holds up. If I get the chance, I'll update once the other 6 laggards make their picks :)

This would of course pit:

BC vs BU
UNH vs NU
ME vs VT
UML vs MC

I'm surprised so many are guessing UNH will be swept by BC!

Hm.. to be honest I like our (NU's) chances vs. UNH better than BC, so... sounds good to me!

Also surprised by the BC sweep predictions. And I'd think BU fans would rather face BC than UNH given the way the Wildcats have pretty much manhandled the Terriers this year.

Normally, I would not stretch the list of 'pros' down quite that far, but needing to include a BC fan with half a brain.......well I had to. :cool: :p

Choog... but, would you prefer to face UNH at Lake Whitt or BC at Conte? That really is the key.

Now that all the 12 nimrods (since pros was so dumped on) have voted, we have a little change in the projected standings. They now are:

BC
UNH
ME
UML
MC
NU
BU
VT

This pits VT at BC
BU at UNH
NU at ME
MC at UML
