That is the problem with being good though...you are trapped by "The Right Thing". That is why being evil is the easy way out.

If they fight, we fight back. If they cry in the corner we point and laugh and scare them into giving us the guns. We do NOT kill. We go out of our way to make sure no innocent blood is spilled. Otherwise we are no better than the cops we all hate in the other thread. Doing the right thing is hard, but it is the only way to do it right.

It depends who you ask. Much like Ruby Ridge there is way more to the story than we knew at the time. In both cases the right thing was probably done the wrong way. The Child Abuse thing was not what originally set the government off it was the guns IIRC. (which is why ATF was there) That is also not a bright shining moment in the history of law enforcement since you can attribute much of the death to their stupid actions. (which then lead McVeigh to bomb OKC)

(I am in no way saying that David Koresh was not a gun running child rapist...cause he was. The rest of the Davidians is a different story though)

The Gun Nuttiest person I know (an uber liberal BTW) never joined the NRA and outwardly hates them because of their racism. He went on rants about the NRA's racism over Philando Castillo.

Where I went to school has nothing to do with my stance so **** off with that.
All I'm saying is when it comes to this issue...i no linger care what ammophiles think nor do I care what happens to them if they decide to take on the gubmint to save their precious weapons.
They have NO regard for the lives of others so I no longer have any regard for theirs.

Looks like Epik (which provides hosting and anti-DDOS protection for Gab, the Daily Stormer, and now 8chan) is now getting its own backend services pulled by yet another infrastructure company, Voxility.

So then we have come to the conclusion that those who want to die when people come for their guns will be using their kids instead of body armor.

Still doesn't mean we should do nothing.

There are, I believe, 44 states with their own version of the second amendment (CA, IA, MD, MN, NJ and NY excepted) so you'll have to do it at a state level as well.

My coworkers were watching FNC at lunch. They were talking about mental illness.

Because of course it can't be the fault of their Dear Leader and the Right's sick, hateful ideology.
