I was throwing a hissy fit. Just give me beer when I do that and I will fall asleep and dream of Mets titles.
 
I get paranoid at this time of day, but seriously. How do you vet the national guard, dc cops, secret service, and White House kitchen staff all before Inauguration Day? And are any of those paramilitary commandos in black still in the Capitol building basement tunnels? Did they check all the closets? Why is the inauguration outdoors? We are in a civil war with invisible enemies and I worry Joe won’t survive one day of it.

If I were those guys I would be praying for Joe Biden's avuncular "can't we all just get along" Eisenhowerism for the next four years. A post-assassination President Harris would have this scum in prison faster than you can say "Third Force Act."

A well-meaning, old, white, 1990s liberal will put up with a continuation of the low level conservative terrorism of the last 30 years because meh what does it hurt? (except the virtual re-enslavement of black Americans)

A young, black, 2020s liberal? Never.

Jamie Dupree, long time Capitol Hill reporter, was making a big deal about this on Twitter last night. He is very connected and I'm sure there is a lot he is not saying right now about it but has heard from reliable sources. I would think she is someone who legitimately could face the death penalty depending on what actually happened.

But legal experts looked at what he said and it was totally appropriate and much better than when there was riots in Seattle and Portland...

I will give him this, he isn't going to pretend to learn a lesson in hopes of stopping what is coming. He is going to go full Trump until the very end.
