He said he was going to so this isn't a surprise. Sounds like no debate will really happen in the senate. The pants-on-head stupid house will probably take forever.

Funny but it appears that the terrorist shot and killed at the Capitol today appeared to receive medical attention very quickly, futile that it may have been because she was probably dead before the first helping hand was layed upon her. Compare that with the average unarmed Black man who gets shot down for little or no reason and then lies on the ground, life slipping away for 10 minutes. Or 20. Or 30. For how long did Brianna Taylor lay bleeding in her apartment before anyone even bothered to check on her well being?

In some ways this has been the ugliest day in this country in my lifetime. And what is going to come of it? What fundamentally about our politics is going to change? What issues in our country that need not be politicized are going to remain hopelessly politicized? How many of the 74 million deplorables who voted for this are going to have their eyes opened?
