Grand Unified Election Thread 2: What is the difference between Biden and Dump?

Is this a win for some of the Republicans who were looking for a chance to distance themselves from Trump? They now can say how horrible it was, condemn Trump, and hope that a majority of the 74 million also think this was insane.
They'll act like they were never complicit.

Cut a deal...they can make one objection but every Dem in both Houses and 1000 random citizens get to kick Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley in the balls.

I would pay to do that. A great way to raise money for people who lost their jobs due to this leadership losers.

A literal textbook example of felony murder in criminal law is when a bystander gets killed by police during the course of a crime (typically a bank robbery).

I believe somewhere in the south a prisoner was put to death in recent years in a case just like this. I wouldn't mind seeing all those who stormed the Capitol put to death.

I would, in all seriousness, believe that some Republicans told them to either drop it or face expulsion.

Heck, they already hated Cruz before this.

That will take some time. The best people like Romney can do now is make a new party.

All of these guys sold their soul for tax cuts. This is what you actually compromised yourself to get. This was a predicted outcome.

Dream on. Beyond statements that rioters are bad and the president should act more presidential not a single republican will do anything more.
Honestly, I think the game has changed with all this mess. People were willing to play along until Qtards were partying on the Senate and House floors.

Most importantly, the folks with the money seem pretty PO'd.

If there was anything that the majority of the 74 million could agree on that meant this president was horrible or worthy of condemnation it would have already happened. The vast majority of those 74 million are just fine with what is happening in D.C.

Think about it, Hovey is getting a fair amount of crap aimed his direction today in this thread and he DIDN'T vote for trump. How bad do you have to be to HAVE voted for trump?

Gotcha! I'm a law-moron so didn't see what you were getting at. Interesting.

One thing to not discount ala the 25th: Reports are saying Trump has been attacking Pence all day.

More importantly, is that Pence is absolutely not in the chain of command yet the order to move in the Guard came from him and it was followed. The DoD was explicit in that it did not come from Trump.

There's a small chance they invoked it already.

Either that or the DoD is straight up not listening to Trump (and potentially SecDef).
