There probably are, maybe even more than arose during his term. But I think he can pardon himself for any federal crime up committed up to the date of the pardon. As pointed out, it doesn't help him if a state goes after him, and doesn't prevent civil cases like the defamation case that he's been sued over.

Also, all of this assumes that he can actually pardon himself, which I'm not sure has ever been tested.

It's gonna be fucking sweet when he has to pony the money up himself to fight that in court and not have the RNC fund it.

Because that's going to be a fucking gigantic bill.

Trump is going to turn this loss into a tv show on FOX. 60-70 million people voted for him. That's a lot of people who will love to hear him complain about how the Democrats stole his Presidency. He needs to raise cash, and that's how I see him doing it.

Small potatoes. He's going to monetize this as a whole network. Either Fox News or OAN or something entirely new. He will have his own emirate Royal Family TV 365/24/7, with 100 million viewers.

Counties with worst virus surges overwhelmingly voted Trump


U.S. voters went to the polls starkly divided on how they see President Donald Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. But in places where the virus is most rampant now, Trump enjoyed enormous support.

An Associated Press analysis reveals that in 376 counties with the highest number of new cases per capita, the overwhelming majority — 93 percent of those counties — went for Trump, a rate above other less severely hit areas.

Most were rural counties in Montana, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Wisconsin — the kinds of areas that often have lower rates of adherence to social distancing, mask-wearing and other public health measures, and have been a focal point for much of the latest surge in cases.

I tuned-in for a bit this morning as well, just as scientific curiosity to see if the level of butt-hurt was off the scale (yeah, it was close, but not in the red just-yet!). Did you happen to catch the “diversion story” about Putin being asked by his family to step-down due him having Parkinson’s disease? Haven’t heard THAT one before!

I did NOT see that. I mean, on one hand, I'd expect this to be bigger news breaking elsewhere. Other the other hand, Fox is basically a functioning wing of the Kremlin. So.... ¯\_(")_/¯
