Had a great trip to Tech this weekend as a virgin! Tailgating was a blast! Just wanted to say thanks for letting 4 rookies invade the fun.....hopefully our cigars didn't smoke anyone out.;)

Tech fans were awesome. We didn't interact with too many but we had zero problems outside of one literally mentally challenged Tech fan that flipped my buddy the double bird for no apparent reason on Friday night. HAHAHAHA!

Great game by Tech on Friday. Gophers D sucked and Shibrowski looked Kangas-esque on those high shots. Even though I don't blame him for those goals, he still didn't look sharp.

I thought the Gophers really battled on Saturday and they earned that win against a good team. Had it not been for a lucky bounce on Tech's second goal, that could have been a very different game in the 3rd, though.

Had a blast meeting up with some of you folks at the DT after the game Saturday!

Overall it was a very fun weekend with some good hockey and good people!

Also, Copley is a good goalie. He made some lucky saves and stood on his head at times, but he really had the Gophers pressing all weekend. If he plays even close to that well the rest of the way for you guys, Tech will be in good shape for home ice(and maybe more).

Was a really fun trip. Loved the bar-hop and tailgating on Saturday, then the second bar-hop for post-game. Brent and I were already talking about trying to set up a fresh invasion in a couple seasons for sometime that the Gophers are out of town or off for the weekend.

Edit: I tried adding a picture, but the attachment went in as like 307 bytes... need to get this forum software figured out to get a real picture added :(

Well that was fun. My insides are still wonky at times. I wonder what the heck I ate that would cause it, then I remember the Gay Bar and think "Oh... yeah."

Houghton was a wonderful host and I will be going back. Mankato will still be jaunting up there. Bummed that I'll never get to the B&B.

Sadly, the first of the last road trips ever in the WCHA for Minnesota in the record books.

Hey, I bet even you have been at the bar at 1am...you've had a few.....looked across the room....and there's MTU waiting to be cheered for. ;)
