Golf 2016 - I Phil we'll never hear the Rory of the Tiger again.

The 14th has been fun so far. 87 bogeys or worse. 9 birdies.

DJ with a lengthy downhill 45' birdie on 7 (his 16th) to go to -4. He's been playing pretty great US Open golf, staying out of trouble and taking advantage of the opportunities that come his way.

I find it hard to believe anyone is going to beat DJ this week.

I want to agree, but I also want to see who in these afternoon groups might be able to put together a score going into the weekend. Maybe Poulter has it in him, maybe Rose or Stenson can make runs. Hoffman certainly has the capability to score low as well.

Mickelson makes an absolute mess on the 13th green, including a 2-stroke penalty for hitting a moving putt, John Daly-esque. A complete meltdown.

Phil just willingly hit a putt on a moving ball on 13, taking the 2 shot penalty. Ball would have rolled to Manhattan down the slope, but shocked to see Phil go John Daly.
