Golf 2016 - I Phil we'll never hear the Rory of the Tiger again.

Spieth with 5 straight birdies and at -7 through 17

I’m a 3 and my goal would be 89. Breaking 90 would be quite the feat, IMHO.

Key is adding the gallery and all that to our rounds :)

You mean you don't typically have thousands of on-lookers when you play? :p:D:D

Assuming a 78-80 course rating, a 3 handicap should average somewhere around an 85. Of course, psychological factors and pressures might add a handful of shots...but purely based on the difficulty of the course, you should be able to break 90...if you ever got the chance to play.

You can’t be implying that their members don’t play matches against their friends from other clubs?!!? :p

Uneducated opinion, I'd listen to mookie. He golfs. A LOT.

Fake news :)

If you post yourself go on ghin.com and enter a score for ANGC. They have a ton of tees names for former champs. (Nobody plays the tips-mookie has heard stories where if anyone sees people on the back tee at #1 they come out of the clubhouse to try and meet the visiting professional who is there to see the course ;) )

So you admit there is no official course rating?

....waiting

Looking and waiting.

Re: Golf 2016 - I Phil we'll never hear the Rory of the Tiger again.

I've only played one round of golf in my life, A co-worker of mine had been on the Clemson golf team and he played darn near every day after work. He couldn't find anyone to go with him, so he begged me to come along with him. I told him I had literally never played, but he said he was good with that. He was really patient and coached me through it. I really focused on the last hole, and was able to save an even 90.

....which I thought was pretty good for my first 9 holes. :D

Still waiting....

Texted a friend who is there now. She is friends with a couple members and would know what mookie asked.

I attended the 2000 Masters tournament, and coincidentally I was a 3 handicap at that time. I distinctly remember thinking as I walked that course that there was literally no chance I would break 90, certainly not on my first attempt.

Now, the par 3 course, that looked more to my liking. :p
