It's no code at all.
  1. Isolate the source tweet
  2. Right click on the tweet
  3. Select "Copy image address" from the context menu
  4. Click the image icon on your post's Edit menu bar
  5. Paste the URL from the buffer
  6. Enter to select OK

Police say there will be no public access to the grounds of the U.S. Capitol for the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden after a violent riot at the Capitol last week.

Acting U.S. Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman says in a statement Monday that officials have “comprehensive, coordinated plans” in place to ensure the safety and security of both Congress and Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

She says the grounds of the Capitol will be closed to the public. The inauguration is a ticketed event.

The announcement comes after thousands of supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol last week as legislators were meeting to vote to certify Biden’s electoral win.

Biden’s team and District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser have been asking people not to attend the inauguration in person because of the coronavirus pandemic.

I saw an interview with a guy from the Secret Service who was involved in planning for security during one of Obama's inaugurations. He was asked about fears of a repeat of 1/6, and his response was basically, "no chance."

He said that inauguration security planning is an entirely different beast. The planning for every inauguration actually stretches out more than a year in advance, and involves the Secret Service, the military, CIA, Capitol police, etc... He said this is not planning to address riots or events like 1/6, this is planning to address and defend against everything from a loan gunman to a foreign power sponsored attack.

Gab is already having issues and I doubt will be able to handle the traffic. (them smack talking Parler was great though) The rest arent very well known.
 
I assume every one of those small fry conservative platforms (the Parlertakes guy said he has identified 19 so far) is being inundated by trolls waiting to destroy the first signs of conservatard derp.

This is great. The whole country finally said, "enough already, you little kids are going to bed without supper." And all it took was almost a coup d'etat.

Americans -- we always rise to the occasion but until I have to pee this couch is so comfortable...
