Most websites use ad services that will send different targeted ads to different people.

Yeah, but don’t you offer terms associated with your ad in order to target the correct sites? I would think a political campaign or PAC would blacklist certain sites in their ad buy with Google Ads, Ad Choice, etc..

These scumbags are jerking themselves off again. I hope the FBI has taken notice.

FBI, DHS, and NSA needed to coordinate on an election terrorism task force months ago - too late now. Only thing us sane people can do is lay in a supply of essential items and self-quarantine from most public spaces for a couple of weeks, starting the weekend before Election Day.

Good thing we've got plenty of practice on that approach this year.

I expect this will be the most severe voter intimidation in US history. The cons have no limit except their innate cowardice, and they may become convinced that law enforcement will not do anything if they launch coordinated attacks on voters and polling places.

These scumbags have dreamed of this their entire wasted lives. They want a civil war. They wouldn't risk their delicate snowflake as-ses if they knew they'd be immediately countered by the cops, but this whole lead up seems calculated to embolden them with the notion that the cops will just look the other way. Which... who knows? The fascist streak in this country runs right through our low education whites, and what are the cops but that?

Facebook has nuked QAnon.

This is not the first step that Facebook has taken against QAnon. An August policy banned a third of QAnon groups for promoting violence. The August policy allowed most of the groups to stay, although their posts appeared less often in news feeds.

Instead of relying on user reports, Facebook staff now will treat QAnon like militarized groups - even if the posts do not have violent material. The company is finding and removing Q Anon groups and pages, the company said in a blog post.

Since the August restrictions, some QAnon groups have added members. Others have used special language to avoid being found. For example, some members use the word “cue” instead of the letter Q.

Meanwhile, some QAnon members have joined other groups. These groups include those concerned with child safety and those critical of coronavirus restrictions. That information comes from researchers at Facebook and elsewhere.

“While we’ve removed QAnon content that celebrates and supports violence, we’ve seen other QAnon content tied to different forms of real world harm, including recent claims that the west coast wildfires were started by certain groups,” Facebook wrote.“QAnon messaging changes very quickly.”

Recent QAnon posts have spread false information about voting and about COVID-19, researchers said. Other posts claimed that President Donald Trump faked getting COVID-19 in order to organize secret arrests.

Critics said Facebook’s move was much-needed, but possibly a little late.

QAnon has already moved into mainstream politics. Several Republican running for Congress this year are QAnon-friendly.

Jonathan A. Greenblatt is CEO of the Anti-Defamation League and one of the founders of the Stop Hate for Profit campaign. The campaigned organized a Facebook boycott by advertisers.

“Now that they have announced that they will treat the QAnon ideology like the very real threat that it is, we hope that they will follow up with some ... evidence showing how the ban is being enforced and whether it is fully effective,” Greenblatt said.

Do the GOP next.

I'd actually be perfectly okay if the Proud Boys beat these people up.

Protesters spray-painted “Dakota 38” on the base of Lincoln’s statue, referencing the 38 Dakota men Lincoln approved to have hanged after the men were involved in a violent conflict with white settlers in Minnesota.

Lincoln, the 16th president, also led the union to victory in the civil war, ending slavery in the US.

After toppling the statues, the crowd began smashing windows at the Oregon Historical Society

I love Portland. I love Portland's weirdness and its utterly unabashed Leftism. Portland is the jewel in the PNW crown.

But f-ck these morons.

(TR can eat it. The parks are cool but he knows what he did.)

TR is a tough case. Yeah, he was racist just like every other white dude at the time. But he also broke up corporate monopolies, built the US Navy, negotiated the end of the Russo-Japanese War (winning the Nobel in the process), created the national park & forest system, and instituted the country's first consumer protection laws.

And most of that stuff he was originally vehemently against based on the life of privilege he had lead. He evolved over time to many of those positions especially monopolies. He became a Progressive AFTER getting involved in politics.

Hating on TR is ridiculous. You cant just destroy all of history because it has some warts. His racism doesn't even rank in comparison to Presidents before him and after him. (obviously that isnt directed at you)
