It’s one thing in front of a frothy mouthed crowd. It’s another in the Oval Office with him and the camera. That takes a lot of ****ing skill and he doesn’t have it. Has he ever done it in from the resolute desk?
Either way, it would be an unmitigated disaster and would set the tone for this war. He would appear to not have his faculties and be shown as weak and feeble.
Fresh and in front of a ton of press gets him back to where he wants to be.
This also illustrates how seriously unfit he is for this job. The proverbial 3 AM phone call is happening and our president needs a nap.

Iran says (again, state tv) US attacks in Iran will result in retaliation in Haifa and Tel Aviv. Bibi will then have the cover to do whatever the hell he wants, which I'm sure is only the best things. These dominos can be stopped from falling. Not holding my breath, though.
