I wouldn't be shocked if Priebus and Tillerson were advocating against war while everyone else was beating off in the situation room at the mere prospect of war.

Question: The N. Korea Kims have been pulling threatening stunts with rockets and other weapons for many years. Every time they do, it is picked up by the media and a big fuss ensues. I know it is a bad regime and that nukes be bad, but it just seems like he and his father are/were attention seekers and that military flash is the only thing they have to offer their people. It does not seem likely, for instance, that they would ever launch an attack on US, Japan, or any other country if that attack is likely to lead to their own destruction. Why don't we just keep our eye on them and give them less attention than they are asking for? I understand our military likes this, as it plays right into their hands, and that other money interests in this country benefit from arms build up. But as a strategy, is there any reason to do anything but keep a close eye on those jokers and tone down the response rhetoric when they shoot off their bottle rockets?

It's the inner and outer party members living in Pyongyang, and the army, that are the true believers keeping up the charade.
