Re: Ginding away- stop putting sand in my oil... Part 4
I'm disavowing being a Millennial.
For one, it's a dorky name, and for two, there may be no more disrespected generation in history. Not even the X-ers caught this much vitriol. JFC, we're going to need a freaking "it gets better" campaign if this keeps up.
The Millennials can't win in society.
Upset because you can't get a job after college? You're a spoiled, entitled kid with no work ethic.
Land a nice job with the federal government because they happened to be the ones hiring? You're a waste of our tax dollars and a drain on society.
Settle for a job flipping burgers to pay the bills until something better comes along? You're a worthless loser who lives in Mom's basement, plays WoW all day, and will never get laid.
Decide to get off your *** and start your own business? You're obviously a spoiled cake eater with rich parents to cover for your mistakes. (That's what inspired this post - the comments on an article I saw on CNBC about a couple 25 year olds who decided to start their own business after graduating instead of messing around with the job hunt.)
Unless you work 120 hour weeks in three different coal mines, killed two hundred people in Iraq with your bare hands, run your own carpentry business with an abacus and a pad of sticky notes, communicate with smoke signals because you don't have a cell phone, and live in the bottom of a well, apparently you're worthless and should just kill yourself.
What ARE we supposed to do, anyway?
