I remember when "Straight Pride" tried to become A Thing a couple years ago... at those events, only 20 people showed up for Straight Pride and 1000 showed up to counter.
 
As for the idea I should move:

I moved from Holland to Kent County last August. But I noticed downtown Grand Rapids, Kentwood, and East Grand Rapids are far more liberal than the rest of the county. But enough voted to turn it blue last November.
 
It's not "move or you get what you deserve." But it is "move or don't be surprised."

Living cheek by jowl with so many stupid people means you are going to wind up living by their rules. Living in a red state is living in an abusive household. Your choices are (1) get out, (2) reform them, or (3) kill them.

Given that (2) is nearly impossible and (3) is, among other things, unlikely to result in a positive long term outcome, (1) is basically the only choice. You can tell how true this is by the floods of refugees who come to the US every year defying our very best efforts to murder them and their children.

The Boston Massacre was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. 20 pasty white POS Southies being chased off the Common by several hundred very diverse protesters. It was the most wonderful tonic for those of us who hate born and bred Boston trash.

2019, Holland votes in a D mayor and a D City Council member. A bunch of us in the area got together and used a new left leaning majority to add LGBT to the city's non-discrimination ordinance.
 
Also, Michigan went blue in November and there are enough in the metros to cancel out Houghton, Sand Lake, and Cedar Springs. Michigan also has LGBT rights on the ballot in 2022.

And DV/SA is research focus of mine. One of the primary reasons abuse victims don't leave their abuser is money. Awfully hard to move when you have $7 in the bank and shelters are jammed to capacity.
 
It's International Women's Day. The fortune 500 company I work for had our division kick off their women's network today, with an hour presentation/Q&A. My main take away is that I'm sick of hearing men talk about how they 'have daughters' and think of them. I understand trying to personalize things, and some mentioned wives, sisters, mothers....but you know what relations not a single one of the men talking mentioned? Friends. Coworkers.
Half the population is female. Why do we only care about making a better world for the one's we are related to?

Idiocracy is a problem but honestly between their guns and their social habits a fair number of their brood sows' effluvia don't make it to puberty.

So it's not derps who will replace PhDs (0.5) as the ruling elite, it's Uber drivers. Rich whites will be replaced by a go-getter Nigerian-Mexican owner class by 2221. Our GOP white trash will be at the same level of incompetent indigence they've been at since they were kicked off the boat here in 1621. They're simply too dumb and too lazy to ever make it in a competitive world. They're a failed branch of the species.

I don't doubt that immigrants from those countries have a higher fertility rate than native-born US citizens, but I rather doubt it's as high as it would be for those who remain in their home countries. The women in Congo who are having 8+ babies are generally too poor to change villages, much less continents.

I assume it's just like the Irish and the Eyetalians. First generation of girls has the same Incubator Idiocy as their mothers. Next generation finishes high school and cuts it in half. Next generation finishes college and cuts it in half again and when they join the country club they become white.

Mexicans will be white in 50 years. Not sure how the Nigerians are gonna manage it but they'll get there somehow.

Not our slaves, though. We fixed them but good. They're always gonna be down in the pit with Cletus, cockfighting for the scraps while we bet on it.
