Huge save by Ostepchuk on a breakaway in the last minute overshadowed by Baldillez's heroics with a great shot to win it.
Going to have to be better to beat Plattsburgh/Concordia (Minn.) tomorrow.
Regardless, 6-1-1 ain't too shabby eight games into the year with all the injuries.
Do you believe in Miracles.....Concordia on the power play for the rest of the game6:15 left and Concordia leads 4 - 3

Yes? Cobbers win 4-3
It is obvious to me that the Cobber's did not receive the memo that they should act like the New Jersey Generals.

Thought I'd catch some "quality" hockey in the North country this weekend.
Game 1: Fairly sloppily played game - whiffs on shots, bouncing passes, passes behind, in the skates of, or on the wrong side of recipients. Norwich pinched D-men consistently, allowing an unusually high number of Midd odd-man rushes. The better team won, and I absolutely love the OT 4x4 format.
Game 2: Much better game, but should be with 15 USHL/NAHL combined recruits vs 1 in Game 1. Cobber goalie was listed as 6', but his head was below the crossbar when in his stance. Concordia moved the puck very well in period one, but ran out of gas at the end of the periods, and just managed to hold on. Engvall left the ice midway through period 2 after a botched check, and I didn't see him return. I don't see either of these two teams losing tomorrow.
You go up North when I'm South looking to head to the Domes for the first time in eight years!
