Future D3 (and D2) hockey programs

Might as well keep some off-season discussion going. D3HKY posted asking what schools would people want to see start up or revive hockey programs. There are a few new teams on the men's side with Beloit, Hiram, Roger Williams, St. John Fischer, and West Connecticut.

Whether speculation, hopes, or dreams, what schools should get some NCAA hockey in the near future?

I would think a few more schools in the MAC could add a team. It will be interesting to see how Hiram does, and if they can get any more teams to join. Chatham is on an island, now Hiram is as well. Though I would have thought Adrian and Trine would have influenced someone else in their vicinity.

I'm very curious about Hiram's goal for adding hockey. There's a good handful of private schools around Ohio and the vicinity that have sizable endowments, so maybe they want to be the first through the door if other schools are looking at starting their own programs. Should be a good base of recruits from in state, but we'll see how they manage.
