They could, technically speaking, given the situation with the roster.
What do you mean? They got reinforcements today. If this was a pro sport, the commissioner would be giving the Eagles permission to start printing playoff tickets.

You're not kidding, honestly, getting Johnson back is a huge deal. She led us in +/- last year.

She'll have a tough time doing that this year, given she was still sitting out when your team's first 5,000 goals were scored.

UND, Dartmouth and Cornell would be my others receiving votes.

Re: Fun With Numbers '14-'15: USCHO Posters Poll, Pairwise What-Ifs, and Other Goodie

1) Boston College -- Could not be more thrilled to go 2-0 without the Four Nations Five and win the game where they played 2.33 games in 14 hours, too.
2) Minnesota -- Idle
3) Quinnipiac -- Idle
4) Wisconsin -- Idle
5) Harvard -- Idle

Now I throw my hands up in the air in frustration.

6) Bemidji State -- Idle
7) Clarkson -- Idle
8) Dartmouth -- Howdy
9) Mercyhurst -- Losing to Syracuse = WOMP
10) Boston University -- Will continue to plummet without Poutine.

I'm waiting until after the Tuesday games since three of the four teams playing are hanging around the edges of the poll.

I may update after Tuesday as well, though only if BU lose or if there is any result whatsoever in the Hurst/OSU game. For now:

1-4 could be in any order:

1. Boston College -- LEARY AWAKES
2. Quinnipiac -- Bye week, yes, but their diet has been less cupcakey than BC's and Darkangelo may wake up after her good performance at 4 Nations
3. Minnesota
4. Wisconsin

5. Harvard -- who knows? They could pull a Cornell on us and be stinky or they could be as good as they look. Here for now because they've made fewer mistakes than anyone below them.

6. Boston University -- reflecting how good they'll be if Poulin gets healthy again.
7. Clarkson -- some tough games coming up for them too.
8. Mercyhurst -- even cupcakier schedule than BC and Quinni have had, so they need to win very consistently to stay rated
9. Bemidji State -- interested to see how they do against North Dakota
10. North Dakota -- interested to see how they do against Bemidji

Ready to come in next week if they keep it up against a serious team: Dartmouth
Under consideration: Princeton (good results against various Mite Bs), Vermont (would have been in if they'd beaten UNH), Ohio State (Hurst, 2xMinny, 2xNoDak coming up -- .5 over that would be extremely good)

I assumed he was making a cupcake joke

Right on the first go... although I am curious to know what the RPI adjustment actually is. (Apologize for the late response. I have been off grid for a few days.)

I can tell you what everyone's is and who the adjustments were against once I get a chance to take a break from riding these rdes at Disneyland :D

C'mon Grant, even someone from BU can type on the teacups.

1. BC - Top consumer of confectioners sugar icing creations, top of the triangle of terror.
2. Minnesota - Searching for their mojo, middle of the triangle of terror.
3. Wisconsin - To do list...sabotage Zamboni at Ridder so it spews extra water, bottom of the triangle of terror.

4. Quinnipiac - So close to the triangle of terror they can taste it yet they keep going back to the baked goods.
5. Harvard - Has this question...Where can they get more cupcakes?
6. BU - Is a little behind on the whole cupcake concept.
7. Clarkson - The first of a wave of green teams.
8. Dartmouth - They are the Big Green so there is that.
9. UND - Is there fire Idalski whispers coming from Grand Forks?
10. Bemidji - The caboose of green.
