Having seen Wisconsin and Minnesota play I give the edge to Wisconsin
Boston college also seems to mean business. I don't think Clarkson will be in the top 10 and Bemidji hasn't played a top 10 team so....

Ohio State fans have convinced me of the awesomeness of a shootout tie victory, so the Badgers sweep of UMD is truly awesome being real victories in regulation so I’m giving them the #1 ranking, and BSU’s sweep of RM and both their last weekends victories put them at #3.

Since I don’t really know any of the teams out East I’m taking the village idiot’s word for it of the awesomeness of BC and putting them at #2.

Since Minnesota could only manage to beat BU by 3 and BU didn’t even have it’s band there, and last year BU & Minnesota fans convinced me how important a band is to hockey, surely the band is worth 3 goals and Poulin & Lefort would surely have beaten the Gophers in a shootout, so I’m moving Minnesota down to #5 with BU #4 and Cornell #6.

The rest don’t matter.

I need 10 teams or I can't count it; it will screw up the tally if I have the 6th place team getting 5 points and the 7th place teams (everyone else) getting 0.

And North Dakota stays in after losing at home to Vermont?

Maybe it's just habit to give Minny all the first place votes. You are right, BC could win it all (and so could Wisconsin). I think you'll see some numbers next to BC shortly.

On the back half of the ledger, I don't see North Dakota or Clarkson appearing in the top 10 for too much longer. They are there based on last year's results and these two teams look markedly different from 2013-14. Bemidji deserves to be on that list right now (although not sure if they are "real" yet). Northeastern should be the other team that replaces them once they get some games in. That team is loaded with talent, but I think last year's injury-plagued results are clouding minds. In fact, I think Northeastern will be a permanent member of the top 10 this season.
