Frozen Four Game 2: Saint Cloud versus Quinnipiac

Re: Frozen Four Game 2: Saint Cloud versus Quinnipiac

Hell of a save there. SCSU on the PP any second....

Re: Frozen Four Game 2: Saint Cloud versus Quinnipiac

It's been building for some time now. Yale was a very good team in 2011, and were it not for a questionable major penalty, may have won it all. Last year, Union represented the conference well, and Cornell came within a goal of the Frozen Four. Now this year.

Not ready to crown them yet. That's all. ;)

Re: Frozen Four Game 2: Saint Cloud versus Quinnipiac

Need to shoot high on Hartzell with quick shots lets see how St Cloud ends up scoring, I don't see this being a shutout

Re: Frozen Four Game 2: Saint Cloud versus Quinnipiac

The Q pretty much dominated the period; obviously Faragher sucked arse.

Re: Frozen Four Game 2: Saint Cloud versus Quinnipiac

The Cloudiacs need to bring in a middle reliever, who can hold QU scoreless for the next few innings, while the oh-fence chips away at the lead one run at a time. Okay. I know, I know. It aint gonna happen.

One title doesn't make the ECAC the premier league in college hockey (if they do in fact win it), but it does pretty much prove that the power in college hockey has definitely shifted from West to East.

Boy am I glad that the practice period is over.

Now it's time to start the actual hockey game.

Re: Frozen Four Game 2: Saint Cloud versus Quinnipiac

I'm confident coach Motzko is trying to calm his team's nerves in the locker room. He's telling them this is not the time to panic. I disagree. Now is the perfect time to panic.

It's three to freaking nothing. The Jantastics are hosed bigtime.

From top to bottom? No. Half the WCHA made the tourney this year. As a whole (key phrase), the power remains in the west. That should (and will) probably change next year, however.

Well I wouldn't quite go that far. But 4 of the last 5 (and likely 5 of 6) is at least a start at redressing the past.

I can remember days when the WCHA and/or the CCHA were foregone conclusions.

What was the record of all the WCHA teams in the tournament?
