Not surprising the ezac will have 2 teams in the finals, when you have 24 and 25 year olds on the squad you're bound to strike gold eventually.
What was the record of all the WCHA teams in the tournament?
Assuming QU wins this...
WCHA: 3-6
HE: 3-3
CCHA: 1-2
Atlantic: 0-2
ECAC: 7-1
The ECAC's 1 loss came in an intra-conference game (Union v. QU)
So looking ahead, I'm wondering if it would be a pretty nasty punch to the gut for Q to lose to Yale in the final after having their number all year. Having run away with the conference and holding down the #1 ranking for so long--only to have Yale yank the "Rise of the ECAC" glory away from them...no pressure![]()

You guys just don't give up with the cheap shots. Feel the burn, baby. Hockey parity is here to stay.
And again, one year. In a one-and-done style tourney. The EZAC is having a good year, I will never deny that. Long term...we'll see. As of now, they are still not in the top 2.

Long term, I agree. That being said, I don't see this as a one year fluke. The ECAC has gradually been doing better on the national stage over the last few years though.
When does the second one show up?FWIW, those are the two best teams playing right now...and it's really not even close.
... all you Pinocchios are suffering from Jan Brady Syndrome.
