I'm not sure what good a cop or lawyer will do her. Can you be sued for being hit by a car while walking? She seems in a total lose-lose situation and is upset about it, so will say/do anything.

probably not but at this point with her putting up such a fit, might be worth it to fight back and sue her...

...but no, so I think the ***** needs to pay for being such a ***** about this.

I was in a similar state this morning. I have been writing it off has a bad hangover, but I'm not really feeling the rest of the hangover symptoms.
Awesome, awesome weekend though. It was great finally meeting those of you whom I didn't know previously, and good seeing others of you again!

Hm, I just went and applied for the max for each day, including practice rounds. I'll be living down in TX somewhere, so it would be relatively close and if I'm not on a ship for the frozen 4, I intend on being in Tampa too.

isn't there some sort of "assault with a moving vehicle"... if she really wants to up the ante... what a tool. She hit you while you were out of your car, right?

i lost both my rearview mirrors last year (don't ask....:o :D) and the total for both was $500. so this woman is paying an attorney how much to recover $250?!?

and the cops already wasted their time on taking the statement. does she think stone cold or any other copper is going to waste another second on this?

When she called me on Sat morning, she claimed it cost $600 at the shop. According to MN law (I have the sheet that the cops handed me): An accident report is unneeded unless 1. Damage to property is $1000 or more OR 2. Personal injury occurred.

I'm filling out the report tonight. Just in case.

Edit: Patman: I was walking with the group, about to cross the street. We were cabbing everywhere that day.

Yeah. I got new brakes, pads, rotors, tires, fixed the AC/heat blower, a couple dash knobs, and a radiator leak and the parts for ALL those totalled $1000.

It was great to meet many posters, but I didn't talk to as many as I would have liked. I was a little preoccupied with the games and having some fun with some fellow Bulldog friends. I cannot wait to attend another Frozen Four. Don't know when that will be.
