I've been talking with jhm, and he's bringing people. I really expect around two dozen people there, if most of our Twins group goes (since that group appears to be the biggest chunk of people).

And I also plan on late nights every night. But no DeathBrent. I promise.

Is scarlet (and her group) planning to go to Gasthof's? If jmh is bringing people and all of us are going, we should have a good group. I was worried it would end up being the regular group again, and I am looking forward to doing some drinking with the people I only chat with on this site.

I have a feeling that I'll be doing my best impression of DeathBrent on Sunday, from the comfort of my couch.

I will be having a late night Wednesday through Saturday, sobering up sometime around 10 am on Sunday.

That early? I'm expecting to still be drunk when I get to my hockey game Sunday night, maybe even when I get to work on Monday.

Technically, you are correct. Das Boot is 2L.

And it doesn't matter what kind of beer you drink. I don't recall Das Boot prices, but 1L is $11, and 1/2L is $6 last I remember.

That's pretty reasonable. I think places here that do liters are around $12 or $13.

Last time I was there (dunno their beer rotation, if they have one) they had the usual Paulaner Hefeweizen, Warsteiner Dunkel, Spaten, Spaten Optimator, and a couple others. They may have the Franziskaner, which is an awesome beer.

I'm in for pretty much all of the Friday festivities, and if I wake up early enough I will show up at the posters game as well on Saturday.

I don't see myself going all the way to St. Paul just to drink on Wednesday night. I'm not interested in paying the big cab fare twice this weekend. If someone is DD'ing back to Mpls however, then I would consider it.

Sorry everyone, you won't convince me I should have taken all week off. I would have been sitting around home doing absolutely nothing for three days, it would have been a complete waste of vacation. I'll happily save my vacation for some deer killing in the fall and for when I'm traveling somewhere.

It was OK to meet Brent too, I guess. Handy and MNS I've met before so nothing new there... You three were remarkably well behaved, maybe intimidated by being in Edina. I was surprised to learn that Brent owns a tie.
