Frozen Four 2015 Where do we go from here?

Re: Frozen Four 2015 Where do we go from here?

Denver, St. Louis and, I believe Detroit, are all making presentations next week. Most folks are expecting them to announce 2015-2017 in the near future.

Re: Frozen Four 2015 Where do we go from here?

I don't know about as a hockey town but I've heard great things about Nashville as a city.

Re: Frozen Four 2015 Where do we go from here?

Yes to both. Denver was great. DC is obviously a homerun city to have this event as well. Tampa was great. Those have to be in a rotation of some sort.

I'm up for trying Nashville. Think we need to get this to Chicago next and see how that goes.
I just was out near the DC Tidal Basin bike riding. It looks like the cherry blossoms should peak early next week which would be much better for the FF than it was four years ago.

Edit: official prediction has Saturday to Monday. IMHO, they're nowhere near peak yet.

I was there once for a conference, and I didn't think much of it. Then again, I don't like country music.

Omaha is very underrated as a city. Spent a long weekend there and really enjoyed it. They also know a lot about holding NCAA championship events.

If you can make Tampa work, you can make Nashville work. Great city with a fan base for the Predators that is pretty good. They could do it with the right people making the bid.

if it went to nashville, i am almost certain that i would spend the entire week there... and i am not really a country music fan...

nashville, denver, dc, tampa, chicago would all be good...

no on detroit until they replace the joe. didn't really care for st. louis when it was there...

Nashville would be fun. I would not be that excited about Chicago and I didn't think DC was that great.

Like to return to: Denver, Tampa, Buffalo
Don't need to return to: St. Louis, Detroit, Anaheim, Milwaukee :p

doh, I forgot about Columbus, but I wasn't a fan, either, and I definitely don't need to go back to Albany. I did not go to Cincinnati.

I didn't mention Boston and St. Paul, since it'll go back to those place regardless.

Providence was awesome. :(

I don't think that the NCAA will approve. ;)
If the NCAA is in a position to approve or disapprove of your tasty beverage, you're not concealing it well enough.

Personally, I'd be happy to see it return to Denver, MSP, Boston (though I wasn't aware of the issues mentioned upthread that might scuttle this possibility), Tampa, DC. I don't really have any need to go back to St. Louis or Detroit but it wouldn't be the end of the world. I missed Milwaukee last time around so I'd like to give it a shot there. NEVER AGAIN BUFFALO GAAAAAAAAAH DON ADAM SHOULD DIE IN A FIRE.

As far as cities that haven't hosted before, I'm curious about Nashville, San Jose would be fun if they want to go off the map, and anything in the NYC area would be great for me personally though I could see why others might not be on board. (Barclays especially would be a dream come true, the Frozen Four within walking distance of my home, but with a capacity of just 14,500 for hockey I don't know if it'd fly.)
