Friday Dec.4 Scores

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

St. Olaf has been in a lot of close games, that's their 4th conference tie in 5 games. They're going to have to start winning some of these if they want to move up the standings, especially if Augsburg picks up their offense and starts moving up themselves.

Any river falls fans know what the heck this was for in the 3rd period?

WRF-1 Grant Everett (5-MAJOR PENALTY) STR 0x1

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

Couple other finals from the MCHA:

Northland 4
Finlandia 2

Lake Forest 3
MSOE 2

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

I'm happy to see that one. Concordia's coaching staff are good guys. We talked with them last weekend at Arrington.

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

Just back from this game. The only thing that can be said is that the better team won tonight. CSS tried to give it away in the end but SNC did not take control of an early X-Mas gift. SNC is beginning to look like last year with limited if any emotion. The D was awful including the wonderful Bantam pass in the end to spring Chong. Gut check time!!!
Thanks for the beer.

You should have heard Coughlin on the post game. Disappointed and frustrated were what I picked up.

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

Point needs to stay out of the box, period. Back and forth game, Superior dominated the first 10 minutes, Point the next 35, then the horse race to the end....

STAY OUT OF THE BOX!

Fritz62 "Moral of the story, Eau Claire sports are so bad that they dont care about what their mascot is".

Hey Fritz going back a bit to last Tues…. New question instead of “What’s a Blugold”? How about What’s worse than a Blugold? Answer Blue Devils; nice program. Ha ha ha ha haaaaaa. Maybe next year they can leave a day early to get here too.

Pretty much every coaching staff is filled with good guys, it makes watching conference games kind of rough since I end up hoping they both win. :o

Coach Howe's got a good team with him, and he was really excited about them before this season. Even though their record didn't show it that much last season, they were in a *ton* of games until the end. This year they've already pulled off some ties that might have ended up as losses a year or two ago. Give him a few more years to recruit, and that team to grow a bit (19 underclassmen I think?) and they could be pretty impressive.

I wish I could get a chance to see them, but they play their next 7 games at home, and that's quite a haul from here. Looks like I won't be seeing them till January 30th at the earliest.

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

I told everyone but they didnt want to listen the forresters have it in for the mcha down goes msoe. where is fangofdest now i want to now i thought msoe was supposeed to be so great and i told ervyone that once lfc came in it would be a brave new world. no wanted wanted to talk hockey except for me and here it is shot pads intact and the peanut benders from msoe go down to lfc just like i saud. welcome to the big leagues dont think i forget cause i never forget

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

USM got nasty, MIDD got overly emotional, it got very ugly, USM thrived on the chaos. Too bad it worked. Not good for hockey, or anything else!

Don't run the goalie then...I was told it happened 3 times...Being Physical is part of the game and if you can't take it maybe you shouldn't watch or play...SO no Praise for USM coming back from from a 4-0 defecit, no good job or hard work it's cause the gooned 4 goals into the net....Sometimes I wonder about the people that go to these games...

Good job you beat MSOE....21-7...sound familiar? Yea your scores against the MCHA team Adrian...YOU BEAT THEM BY 1....after they kicked you around for 60 minutes of hockey...keep dreaming chump and try using some grammar if you know what that is...Much like the headache you must have received from bending over and taking it in the *** from Adrian, I got the same one from reading your post...

Joe:

I apologize that we could not meet. Just more things on my plate than I expected. Congrats to Salem for a very nice weekend of play in the West and no problem on the beer. To make it through a 12 pk. of Pabst followed by Point Beer, you guys must have had to follow that up with some sort of stomach assistance.:D

Regarding last night, Coughlin made his feelings known in the local paper. Tonights game is critical for NCHA positioning. CSS is a steady team w/o flash. Very good defensively by blocking pucks and backing into their own goalie.

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

Sorry - it's a final

Middlebury 4 USM 4

Middlebury blows a 4-goal lead so a very good tie for USM

Not sure "blows the lead" tells the whole story as USM stepped up their game down 4-0 and took it to Midd, creating a lot of confusion in the defensive end and scoring some opportunistic goals. It was a rough game at both ends of the rink with lots of action low after whistles. Kudos to USM for not quitting....enjoyed watching Zach Joy play his game and Celik made some big saves when called upon in the 3rd period. Midd still has trouble finishing...had numerous good looks in the final frame but went wide and high... and these guys have a ways to go to get it together for a full 60 minutes. It's still early....just 5 games in for NESCAC/ECAC-E teams so far.

Much better recap...Who knows maybe USM/Middlebury might meet again in the new year...
