Friday Dec.4 Scores

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

wow...bad bad tie for Plattsburgh
nice job Potsdam

Let that be a lesson...make sure your bears are dead when you begin to place a fork in them...lest they come roaring back.

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

But they outplayed Potsdam!

That true but if you have to base votes on how they play and then the over all score of the game then giving up a 3-0 lead in the 3rd period has to be bad.

The worst part of the tie for the Cardinals is that they have to sit on this game for a month before their next game.

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

Stuck it and turned it sideways back out...have fun with that #1 ranking ;)

Only temporary. It's nice but don't really mean squat other than you are presently playing well. Lot's of hockey left as you are well aware. I don't count my chickens.;)

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

Plattsburgh's Ducky just said that in 37 years that he has stuck the fork in the opponent tonight was the first time they were not done! He needs a meat thermometer for Xmas!:D

Maybe he should worry less about the horns and howling fans.... god for bid people make noise at a hockey game....

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

Wow, Ducky with a shankapotamus on the "stick a form in 'em". I wasn't listening to the game to confirm he actually said it, but 3 goals with 19+ minutes seems a little premature. Anyone know the last Ducky misfire?

Edit: Alright that question has been answered. Thanks.

Also, Cortland did win the game vs. Geneseo 5 - 3 with an ENG. Geneseo did make it a game, but came up a little short. It actually sounded like pretty good game for both teams Cortland just converted on one more opportunity (2, I suppose counting the ENG.)

I told you. First misfire in 37 years.

Re: Friday Dec.4 Scores

MORRISVILLE, NY—Nicholas Petriello (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross) scored twice and Buffalo State (3-8-1/2-6) downed host Morrisville State (3-6/2-5), 6-4, tonight in a SUNYAC battle.

Joel Sheppard (Pefferlaw, ON/Sutton District) had a goal and an assist, and Mike Luzarraga (Sugarland, TX/Clements) and Justin Knee (Centralia, ON/South Huron) added single markers for Buffalo State. Freshman Trevor McKinney (Oakwood, ON/Sinclair) completed the scoring for the Bengals, netting his first collegiate goal on the power-play with 16 seconds remaining, and D’Arcy Thomas (Gatineau, PQ/Philemon Wright) added three assists.

The Bengals led 2-0 after the opening period and held four two-goal leads in the game, never allowing the Mustangs to even the score. Luzarraga’s shorthanded goal late in the second period proved to be the game-winner. Morrisville outshot the Bengals, 39-25, but Alan Fritch (Saginaw, MI/Heritage) made 35 saves.
