Interested to see if Lescovich can hold Stout in tomorrow's game. Not sure Stout can allow another 49 shots and keep it that close. SNC peppered him pretty good throughout the game.

Last year in going to the NCAA semifinals, Oswego scored 5.31 goals per game and gave up 2.03. The year before it was 4.30 and 2.74. The year before that was 4.35 and 2.19.

This year it's 4.33 and 1.67. They just won a game 5-2 that was over after the first period. What exactly are you talking about when you say "if they could have finished they would have put up their customary allotment of goals"? 5 goals a game is nothing to sneeze at.

Did you bother looking at the first time Oswego faced Buff State last year?

Oh. The score was 4-1. How about that.

How about the year before? 3-2 overtime and 4-3?

The year before that? 4-2 and 5-2.

Oswego hung 10 on buff state last year, but hasn't scored more than five against them since 05-06, yet 10-1 is their "customary" number of goals?

Are you sure you know what "customary" means?

I am confused as all hell... I was listening to the UWS-UWRF game till the second period... and RF was up 3-0, but the box score says UWS scored the first goal and the game ended 5-3 UWRF.... am I hallucinating or is the box score inaccurate????

The info on the goal is correct, though it appears to have been designated to the wrong period. UWRF was indeed up 3-0, and won 5-3.

I guess my Geneseo pick in SUNYAC pick''em wasn't so crazy after all. The only thing I'm upset about is I wasn't even close to the final score! :)

Good for the Ice Knights. This continues to be one of the best stories in D-III over the past eight or nine months.

Who said that there was going to be an upset in the Franklin Pierce-Utica series this weekend? .....with Franklin Pierces play compared to Utica's, its like betting that Oswego would loose to Lebanon Valley....highly HIGHLY unlikley to occur....

Well played, Scott. I guess I still remember the days when I was in school where The Lake Show would hand 5-9 goals on them. Guess I'm still longing for a Hawks style blowout.
