Cortland gets their first shutout since November 11, 2006.

During the Cardinal Classic last month, I recall Ducky Drake suggesting that if the scoreboards at Stafford weren't fixed, they should have "Scoreboard Demolition Night". Ducky suggested holding it against Cortland because you need to hold an event like that against one of the bottom feeders. Funny how that turned out, huh?

Also, had I not busted out of the LPS last week; I would've picked Plattsburgh over Cortland this week. Guess I was gone either way.

First time Plattsburgh has been shut out at home in the USCHO-era. I am pretty sure I recall when the last time was. IIRC is was 3-0 against Oswego in 1998 against a goalie who shall remain nameless.

I just don't think this version of the Cards has a "dog fight" in them. I hope they prove me wrong.

ROB KNOWLES, IF I WAS THE RED DRAGONS GOALIE AND PLATTSBURGH TOOK 30 PLUS SHOTS INTO MY CHEST...I COULD THROW A SHUTOUT TOO!

He had excellent team defense in front if him. Plattsburgh HAD NO GRADE A SCORING CHANCES!!!

Way to **** off Platty, Cortland. I smell the Cards will be coming hard tomorrow. Eddie better tell the boys not to take this one lightly.

P.S. I wonder if the Fire Emery thread will be resurfacing on the top page soon?
