In further unexpected upset news:

University of New England gets their first Interlock win of the season, as they knock off Amherst 5-2.

Amherst started Nathan Corey, who stopped all nine shots that he faced in last years meeting. This years game went quite differently :D.

EC's resurgence reminds me of 05/06 where they went 4-6-2 through break then only lost 2 the rest of the way. Yes, the year that EC hosted the FF in Elmira, and was invited only to boost the attendance :|

During the Cardinal Classic last month, I recall Ducky Drake suggesting that if the scoreboards at Stafford weren't fixed, they should have "Scoreboard Demolition Night". Ducky suggested holding it against Cortland because you need to hold an event like that against one of the bottom feeders. Funny how that turned out, huh?

Also, had I not busted out of the LPS last week; I would've picked Plattsburgh over Cortland this week. Guess I was gone either way.

I heard he was about to. But sadly both the fork and his wallet were stolen the other day. What a shame, that fork was an heirloom.
