Great game to say the least tonight in Utica.Sorry your wish dident come true though ;)

Both teams were so evenly matched, pehaps they very well might be the two most evenly matched teams right now heading into the playoff stretch.

As muich as i hate to say this as a utica fan, I would not be shocked in the least if Hobart beats Utica tomarrow night, with all the chances and such close calls that came tonight for BOTH sides, only jesus could predict tomarrow nights score.

Kuhlman is a solid goaltender. Happy he and his team shutout such a good program like Plattsburgh. Congrats Brittan.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but he wasn't spectacular in net. He wasn't "standing on his head" to make saves. In fact, he was kind of calm and composed. Ask anybody who was at the game like I was, Plattsburgh seriously did not have any "sexy" scoring chances by any means. It seemed like most shots were all into his chest or kicked aside to the corner.

But no excuses. People can talk bad about the Cardinals tonight, but don't make Cortland's goalie look like a God because he threw a shutout on 40 shots. Because out of the 40... only three or four were "Grade A" scoring chances.

nobody said he stood on his head. he played solidly enough to get the job done. most of Plattsburgh's shots were right into his mid section and he limited the rebounds all night. personally I think Plattsburgh was looking ahead a bit to tonights game. Plattsburgh was also skating without Jobb, Jensen and Taylor so Barry Roytman who is normally a defenseman skated as a forward most of the night. not an excuse, there was no reason Plattsburgh shouldn't have won the game even without those 3 in the lineup, the just did not come to play last night and payed the price for it. Congrats to Cortland.
