Running down a path through the woods/swamp in the dark of night is an eerie experience, let me tell you. I'm very happy to have purchased a headlamp so I can continue getting in my walks/runs while the daylight escapes us earlier and earlier. My daily route is ~3.43 miles, and I'm able to run ~1.5 miles of it now, thought not all at one stretch yet. Still, the running distance is increasing and my overall time keeps shrinking. Combine the running with my weekly hockey game (90-minute ice times), and my legs are starting to get some form back to them.
I need to find better running shoes, and perhaps running shoes designed for colder temps as the two pair I have now both use mesh uppers and a couple of nights have been fairly cool.
