And to think they almost cut the hockey program in the early 90s!

Pretty sure there was just recently talk of that, as in within the past couple of years.

I would hope this would completely take that out of the picture. It would be a bad, bad move.

Congrats to the only surviving CCHA team and good luck at the Frozen Four. I thought that Western Michigan would be joining you but North Dakota was too tough. It's disappointing to me that two WCHA teams that play each other all seasons meet in the Regional final. I would have felt the same way if it had been the ECAC or CCHA. IMO, the brackets should have been set up with teams from the same league only meeting in the Frozen Four semi's, but only if that was unavoidable.

This Ferris hockey team is the mentally strongest team I have ever seen. They don't let their success get to their heads and they don't let their failures get them down.

Congratulations, Ferris! Count me in for the bandwagon. I remember how much our first Frozen Four trip meant three years ago, so make sure that you make every moment count no matter what happens. Represent the CCHA well. Go Bulldogs!

I have been a Ferris Hockey fan since 1991 when my family moved to Big Rapids (albeit as much a fan a first grader can be). I have loved this team for many years but never thought I would see this.

This is awesome.

Trust me. You can be one helluva fan as a 1st grader. That's when I discovered Enos Cabell, Jerry Udjur, and the Detroit Tigers, and I've been hooked on other sports ever since.

This Falcon fan will be in Tampa rooting for you guys all the way!!!! I know we gave you a bitter pill to swallow two weeks ago, but couldn't be happier to see you guys recover from that disappointment, win two good games and now get to go to the Frozen Four!! I watched both of your games this weekend and cheered for you all the way!

Congratulations Ferris State. FSU is becoming my 3rd favorite team in college hockey and I hope you guys can make it back to back 1st time Bulldog national titles.

Your's is the best TEAM I saw play this year, and perhaps your cause was actually helped by losing in conference quarters

UAH fan here rooting for FSU - you were willing to schedule home & home games with us as an independent, are a potential new conference member, and another DII school trying make a go at DI hockey level. Best of luck!

Very belated congrats to FSU. We'll try to blend in with what ever fans are in and around sec. 307. As much as the script Michigan State can blend in ;).
