Don't worry about the national respect or lackthereof, guys. As far as I can tell, you don't get any until you're A) a regular tournament team and B) actually win some tournament games.

Miami just started get respect in the last couple of years, and this is their 6th trip in 7 years. Until that, it's a case of "Look, a cute little CCHA school between us and our near annual rematch of A and B. in the tourney.

Well here we are. I'm honestly not sure what to expect from this game, considering what the Bowling Green series was. I'll be watching online, even if they can't beat Denver, just getting to the big show is awesome.

So because ESPN is ******y as hell, apparently ESPN 3 only works if you have one of their "approved" internet service providers. So I am sitting in my car, taking CMU campus internet to watch the game. Freaking crock of garbage. ESPN is a ****ed joke.

On a positive note, I got to hear the "Drop it" chant, good work by the Dawg Pound that was able to go.

Ferris band sounds pretty solid, they must have shelled out to bring them out. (Although I haven't seen them yet in the crowd, I have however seen a few of the diehards and Brutus sitting behind the net.

That's more like it! Awesome, awesome stuff. Wish I could've been there, elite eight here we come.

I would love to see Cornell pull an upset, but we have to be prepared to beat Michigan Won't be easy for sure. Go Dogs!

Hammer, agreed with your comment about debts forgiven. Ferris came out and played the game they needed to play to win. Suffocating zone and took advantage of their opportunities. Probably should have had a couple more, but Nelson also robbed Denver of a few potential goals.

Really, just an all around great game for both sides. I was definitely pleased with the effort compared to their last series, which I hope to erase from my memory at some point in my life.

Would like a second shot at Big Blue, but they are always a tough opponent. Either way, Cornell or Michigan, I expect a great game tomorrow night.

I saw Andy Iles play for the U-18s before he went to Cornell. He's a helluva goaltender.

if anybody was wondering how Ferris wins games, this game against DU was pretty much the blueprint.

that being said, there were several goals on Jason Zucker's stick (or between his skates) and he never capitalized. but i'll take it.

I've said it before. I'll say it again. They don't award points for being cute. There's no crooked Russian judge awarding points while getting paid off. I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty.
