Come on!!!

I heard this week-end that a team that knocks off the number one team in the nation, twice in a week-end (ok, ok, so a shoot-out win is considered a tie, by some factions) is automatically granted the number one ranking in the country.

I swear to God that's what I heard.

Calm down! Its not the polls at the begining of the year you worry about, its the ones at the end of the year you worry about. You're far better to be right now, just kinda out there hiding in the weeds, just steadily rising week in and week out.

He cracked a bone in his foot blocking a shot in the 2nd period against Miami, Friday night. Might be back (BIG might) for the Tuesday game against msu, November 23.

Bulldogs fall 1-0 to LSSU. No way this should happen. LSSU registered 33 shots on Nagle team defense needs to play better. Say bye to the national ranks.

With apologies to my good friend Hammer, you guys suck. The Ferris State Broncos do not deserve to be ranked #20 Nationally. What a joke!

Wow. Where to begin.

1. Polls don't matter, especially when 20th puts you around the 38th percentile among college hockey teams
2. 1-0 games are always signs of teams that suck
3. Especially losses to the Lake Superior State Wildcats.
4. Seriously, Hammer has a picture of the FSU logo as his avatar. It's the worst looking Bronco I've ever seen.

Well, it told me the same thing I knew two months ago (and, well, eight months ago, for that matter). We're going to have problems scoring, and we're going to have a lot of low scoring games. I knew there would be games like this, although I expected them to be of the 2-1 variety instead of the 1-0 type. It's a nice win for Lake.

That's okay. Once the Michigan game started, I got to see a defensive TD and a left tackle gaining 12 yards on the ground.
