Cool....That is a classic up here.

Great little clip on Bellamy the Lam twins and Coach Johnson. A very nice hats off to the UNH staff and the players by Ms. Bellamy. We are very proud of #22 in Durham.

Is it safe to assume that this will break the women's hockey attendance record? (Though Wisco plays an outdoor game at Camp Randall in feb which would trump this one?)

Sorry to interrupt the Fenway discussion, but USCHO is reporting that Jenn Wakefield is indeed transferring from UNH ...

... to BU.

Been discussed on here before, now confirmed. Coach Durocher declined comment in the article. Why would he decline comment? Don't understand the move by Wakefield. I would think UNH would be a better fit developmentally. Especially towards her push to make the 2014 team. She had 2 great seasons with UNH which helped her towards the Canadian National Team centralization. The smaller ice surface will help her to put up more points due to her size and shot. But the larger ice surface would make her a better skater and a better visionary player on the ice. Which IMO are the 2 areas that if she improves will put her in clear contention for 2014.

Jen will be a big boost to the BU program. But the BU program IMO has trouble pulling out wins when needed. They just can't seem to make adjustments needed. Coaching is a big part of developing along with what the player is willing to put in. Then it is surrounding yourself with other good players that know and want to win. That being said I would think that Wakefield would have wanted to play for a winning WCHA team, or a Mercyhurst where there are many Canadian National players playing if she was going to leave a program like UNH.

Like has been said on this board before - Once a Cat always a Cat. Good luck Jen. It won't be as fun watching you in the Terrier uniform.

Rumors are poor teammate/coach relations.

There's simply more to life than hockey.

Good luck Jenn. I'm excited.....Go Terriers!

NCAA rules. If an NLI has not yet been signed, then the program is not allowed to discuss potential recruits in spite of what verbal agreements may exist.

Nice! I can't wait to get out there today for the practices (and to test my new thermal underwear ;) )

Thanks for sharing.

Fleece lined jeans are the only sensible way to go.

"Fleeced Jeans" ?.....Canucks to the rescue again. The snowsuit options we have up here are the best. Go to a Ski-Doo shop and you find the best of the best and the warmest of the warmest. Off Course Don Cherry would say that is all nuts. Though it out in the old fashioned woolies, the Canadian way.

To all who are fortunate enough to be able to go to this game tomorrow...Enjoy.

P.S...Can't wait for photographic evidence of the latest EWOK style :D
