Fargo regional

I think part of the reason that MN came out flat is that they expected an easy game, and relaxed too much as a result. Cute fancy plays happen when you don't respect your opponent. I could be wrong, but that is for sure one possibility.

Maybe. It's hard to want to believe that idea, but then you have to remember these are still young men. You'd think since we've never lived down the 2006 loss and the AHA has actually had good success beating #1's overall (including Motzko's teams two years in a row) he'd have his guys ready for that. Still, it's always possible it's that simple.

You both make good points. I only will add that this wasn't just an AHA team, but a 4th place finisher in the AHA that barely finished over .500. Has there been a worse rated team in the PWR get into the tourney before?

That being said, with the way the PSU game is going, can you imagine how intimidated Colgate probably is right now? I'll be shocked if Michigan doesn't score at least 6 goals in that game.

Colgate is already warming up their bus. HAHA

Crazy first round so far. As of now only one game has finished within 2 goals. PSU is currently up 5, QUI is up 2 and I expect MI to pound Colgate.
